Nees and Vos
Nees and Vos was a soulful rock duo founded by Andrew Paul and Chris Vos in the early 2000s. Blending blues roots, gritty vocals, and driving guitar riffs, the band earned a loyal following through high-energy live performances and raw, heartfelt songwriting. Their music reflected a shared love for classic Americana and vintage tones, laying the groundwork for what would become distinctive hallmarks in both artists’ later work.
After the group disbanded, Chris Vos went on to co-found the GRAMMY-nominated rock band The Record Company, while Andrew Paul continued carving his own path as a songwriter, performer, and bandleader in New York City. Though short-lived, Nees and Vos remains a fan-favorite chapter in their musical journeys—where it all started, in basements, bars, and late-night jams.
